Ever questioned who Flat Earthers are and where they get their evidence from to form their conclusions? Then go no further with Episode #061 with Flat Earth Dave, only on Off The Dome!!
Never in a million years did I ever envision sitting down with a “high ranking” flat earther .. yet here we are discussing my encounter with such a thing.
To start off this blog, I want to first introduce a fun new section called “OTD’s Fun Fact of The Day”. And it comes in from Flat Earth Dave.
According to Flat Earth Dave, Dinosaurs existed because there is a picture of them. Now, a sensible individual may have a few rebutters such as, “Cameras didn’t exist back then, how do we know that’s not fake?” or “Explain the thousands of archeologists who have fabricated false documentation and skeletons?”. Once again, I reiterate that this should be the response to a “sensible” human being.
Snapping back to reality, it’s obvious dinosaurs existed. Any individual who questions the existence of these animals has obviously been living under a rock and has listened to too many Jesse Ventura and Joe Rogan conspiracy theories.
And I think now, is the perfect time to properly introduce my guest, on The Off The Dome Podcast, Flat Earth Dave. An individual who not only beliefs the earth is a disc, that dinosaurs did not exist, but is also a mass manipulator of the individuals involved in the “Flat Earth Theory”.
P.S. – Flat Earth Society does not represent Flat Earthers as “apparently” it is a government-owned organization that fabricates “evidence” to discredit the true Flat Earthers .. Go Figure.
Now all jokes aside, recording this podcast may have been one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Just to actually sit down and attempt to, at least understand the theory behind the madness.
Oooo man was I not disappointed.
Not to claim that I am a genius who has proven the bullshit behind “Flat Earth Daves” message, but during this interview, something happened that I can’t stop laughing about.
To start of the episode, I was shown about how you can still see objects which should supposedly be beyond the “curve” of the earth. To prove his point, Flat Earth Dave showed a picture of the ocean and zoomed in to reveal a boat in the distance. The point he was trying to justify was that you increase the resolution of your perspective or photo, you can see “beyond” the curve, thus proving there is no curve. (See photo below)
Now, what Dave forgot to cut out, is in the first picture in the top right
corner. It reads,
“This mod allows you to see objects behind a curve”
Well Flat Earth Dave, looks like you might need to edit your PowerPoints because you yourself, have proven that the globe is round. And as promised by you, too whoever proves the curvature of the Earth can claim the reward of three Bitcoins, and as a result, I would like to claim my prize.
